The porthole itself is a substantial 2″ thick and when the dogear bolts are screwed on it is 4.5″deep from the wall. This porthole mirror features real looking faux nuts and large steel metal dogears. A stout porthole with a clean look, this port is at a small fraction of the weight and cost of a typical brass porthole this size. Porthole does not open.
